Our Role
Provision of engineering, project and construction management services for the upgrade of existing tailings system including the installation of a new 36m diameter high rate thickener, tailings pumps and 3km of tailings pipeline. The upgrade was part of a suite of projects to increase concentrator capacity to 2.5Mtpa.
Project Outcomes
Optimum design of the new tailings line allowed the operation to run at reduced pumping power and save substantial power as a result.
